- 2 slices angel food cake (SEE NOTES)
- 16 tbsp lemon curd (AS PER RECIPE LINK IN POST ABOVE)
- 8 scoops no churn vanilla bean ice cream (AS PER RECIPE LINK IN POST ABOVE)
- 8 tbsp raspberry sauce (AS PER RECIPE LINK IN POST ABOVE)
- 4 chocolate covered strawberries
- 4 tbsp sweetened shredded coconut
- 4 tbsp slivered almonds
Line up your sundae/milkshake glasses
Break up your angel food cake and place ½ a slice at the bottom of each glass
Put 3 tbsp of the lemon curd on top
Add 1 scoop of the vanilla ice cream as your next layer
Next, add 2 tbsp of the raspberry sauce
Add the second scoop of the vanilla ice cream
Top with 1 tbsp of the lemon curd
Sprinkle 1 tbsp of the coconut and 1 tbsp of the almonds and place a chocolate strawberry on top to finish!
The Angel Food Cake helps to add some texture to this dessert. If you want you can add an additional layer in the middle.
Also, if you're not a fan of angel food cake or don't have any on hand then you can use some crushed cookies instead. Shortbread, vanilla wafers and even some crushed biscotti would be great additions!
Similarly, if you want to change up the almonds for a different type of nut feel free to experiment. Instead of the coconut you may want some fresh raspberries instead or simply whipped cream and sprinkles! Feel free to experiment and make the dessert your own!
